T2 Writing Learning Story

In writing I have been learning to use what I've learn't from my reading to help me describe explain in my own writing. I look for good key words in my book to help me and give me ideas for my writing.

I can use adjectives,adverbs,similes,metaphors and descriptive phrases and more...
These words helps me with my writing because I can describe the character and what's going on in the story.

Here is an example of my conscription story about my son going to WW1.
Then knock went the door. “The army people are here to take you”I said.So then my son ran down the stairs and he said to me” Okay, this is finally happening to me mum.I replied”Good luck son and i will hopefully see you again”. So then my son hugged me and said” good bye mum”.Then later on they left.

Evidence:Later in the year I listened to the radio and they were talking about the war.They said that thousand’s of people had died during war.


What we have been learning in our writing is to hook the readers head and to also paint a picture so that the reader understands what the story is happening.
It is hard but that is a way to be a level 4 writer.
