Kapo kapo Learning Story

On Tuesday night, the 23rd of June we had Kapo Kapo. It was packed at Te Raupara Arena, and it was dark too.I really enjoyed being on the stage in front of heaps of people. It made me feel very proud to represent my school and my culture.

I was scared when I first went on the stage, but then I got use to it and tried my best.

The skills that I used on the stage is going hard out and always using sharp actions, pukana and smile when you need to.

It felt like I was living a dream. It felt so nice to be on that stage and performing in front of heaps of people.

Every time when there is a song to pukana then you have to pukana and if its to smile then we had to smile. That's what I learnt in Kapa haka and at Kapo kapo.

Kapo Kapo was really fun because you can get to perform in front of people and also because heaps of people are cheering for you and others.
